This issue occurs when you’re trying to update a certain app. Here are the possible causes of this problem:

• The incoming package conflicts with an installed package.
• A specified package dependency can’t be found.
• The package doesn’t support the correct processor architecture.

To resolve this issue, you need to re-register the Windows Store:

1. Go to Search, type powershell, right-click Powershell, open as administrator
2. Enter the following command, and press Enter: Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
3. Restart your computer

thank you very much for your reply. Unfortunately I could not solve the issue using the provided steps. I'll quickly give an overview over the different suggestions from the linked article.

1) I did restart my PC

2) Error message stays the same (0x80073d24). Trying to download again still yields the same result as described above

3) XBox Game Pass (PC) subscription is active (I can play other games)

4) I have admin rights on my PC

5) Game data is found, but update still fails

6) I have enough storage space left (more than 400GB on the drive I am trying to install Dirt Rally to)

7) I did try to reinstall the Gaming Services app using the provided powershell commands. Initially the install fails "Try again later. Something happened at our end" (Tried it twice now with ~9h of downtime in between). I could eventually reinstall by restarting
my PC. The issue with Dirt Rally 2.0 is not fixed, unfortunately.
