0x80070520 from Xbox Gaming Service

Ok, MS support was expectedly woefully unhelpful, telling me to just reinstall the OS to resolve this. Not happening. Hopefully someone here may actually be familiar with the products and can help at a deeper level.

I've been playing Payday 3 for a while. Everything has been fine up until a few days ago. Upon starting up the game, when it attempts to authenticate to Xbox Live, it fails with "We couldn't sign you in to Xbox Live. Sorry, something went wrong. Try again in a while. (0x80070520)", and doesn't let me into the game. This happens to any Xbox Game Pass game that uses the Xbox Live Gaming Service (presumably, Ive honestly only tried PD3 and Back 4 Blood.. Hi-Fi Rush has no multiplayer, so I dont think it uses this service).

To my knowledge, nothing was updated on my system around this time.

Below is a list of things I have tried. I have tried much more than this, but I've been troubleshooting this for almost a week and I've forgotten much of what I've done, so this is not a comprehensive list. I of course started with the least 'destructive' options before trying the more extreme.

Uninstalled/Reinstalled (through both Apps & Features and powershell):

Various games

Repaired/Reset each app in Apps & Features.

Created new local admin account. This lead to other issues (game download would go into a queue and never start).
Created new MS account.

Reset MS passwords. Verified successful logins on various MS services:

Xbox app
Xbox One S

Ran wsreset.
Ran GamingRepairTool.

Attempted through VPN.

Unlinked devices from account.microsoft.com and waited 24 hours.

Removed from credential manager:

Deleted files:

Logged out of account on Edge browser, even though I've never used it.

Updated Edge.
Ran latest OS updates.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, otherwise I'll have to give up my gamepass subscription. I'm a bit of a 'power user' and have an extreme amount of settings, tweaks, modifications, etc that I have no interest in redoing just to play a damned game. (Nothing that would affect Xbox Live; It has been working for quite a long time until just recently, and I've been too busy with work to do anything other than browse the web and play games for an hour or two each night.)
