0x800704cf error cant connect to live

So there’s absolutely nothing wrong with my router and internet, but when i turn on my xbox (instant sign-in) i get a message saying “You’ll need to connect to the internet for this” with the code
0x800704cf at the end. My xbox IS connected to router, i can see what friends are online but the “connect to live” button is still available on the home page, and when i press it, it sends me back to my network settings.

I’ve tried reconnecting to the router. I’ve tried hard resetting my xbox, unplugging it for 5 minutes, unplugged and reconnected it, and still no luck.

I was able to play sunday night, went to bed, came back monday night and started having this problem. Its annoying.

Normally when I receive this error there is normally something going on with the service. Happened the other day and some of live's services were down. You can always check it here.
Normally the error goes away after an hour or so.

The link you provided is either bad or Xbox live reporting service is down , I have been trying to connect since Sunday evening it is now Wednesday morning the service came up yesterday for a short time but still not able to play any live games, I have reset
every thing many times to no avail I'm in northeast Tn U.S. I hope this is fixed soon since I am stuck at home.

I have the similar problem with the Minecraft launcher. I'm not signed into Minecraft so I cant remove an account. But on Xbox game bar I'm signed in and get the same error code, I tried clicking "use a different account" and signing in but I get error code 0x800704cf which means I'm not connected to the Internet but I am connected to the internet. If you can help that would be amazing.
