0x80070057 when installing Xbox Game Pass for Windows 10 Games

At 100% this error throws up, regardless of whether I install via the Xbox Beta app or Windows Store.

I have:

Checked my subscription (it's fine)

Checked I have the storage space (I do)

Rebooted

Ensured I'm up to date for both apps and Windows 10 (I am)

Reset the store using WSReset

Followed the instructions to install the Game Services Host application

Tried a different drive

Tried DISM repair

Tried SFC

Reinstalled the Xbox beta app (including rebooting between uninstall and reinstall)

Interestingly the app folder throws "Invalid Parameter" if I try to access it, I can access the folder of things I've already installed just fine other than the ones on my C drive where the WindowsApps folder is inaccessible

I'm all out of ideas now, this just started happening one day for no reason at all. It's rather frustrating as I'm paying £3.99 for a subscription I can't use right now...

Sorry about this.

A lot of people are experiencing problems with games and apps today. I'm thinking it's a problem on Xbox's side and not on yours. The best you can do is to wait until the problem is fixed by Microsoft. Although it says all services are fine
here, I reckon the problem will be fixed within a few hours.

Is been months already, when you gonna patch game pass? So hard to get rid of one bug? There's a lot of people with this issue and no solution yet. All Microsoft say is "yeah! Will fix it", "Where working on that", etc.

You're gonna lose a lot of clients of the gamepass because of this, because they can't even play or install the games.

PD: And yeah I have admin privilege, etc, nothing of that works.

It's been like this for a few days and my wife can install stuff just fine, so it's something specific to my own install.
