    When trying to launch Call of Duty Advanced Warfare I get the error message Something went wrong 0x80070057.

    I have the game installed on an external hard drive but the odd things is I have two Xbox One consoles each with an external hard drive and if I get the hard drive from the console having no problems and hook it up to the console giving the error message
    I can play the game with no problems. This made me think the hard drive was the issue so I copied the game from the working hard drive to the console but once I unhooked the hard drive and tried to play I got the error message again. I tried to re-download
    the game from scratch while I was at work but after over 8 hours it was stuck at 3% installed. I have no clue why I can only play Call of Duty from the one external hard drive any help would be appreciated.

    Tried to re-download again to the internal hard drive and it made it to 38% before stopping which was enough to start the game. Stopped the installation and I was able to use the copy on my external hard drive again. I guess it re-downloaded enough to clear
    what ever issue my console was having with the game.

    I'm having this issue right now. I've had the game since day one and installed it to my external hdd without an issue. Went to play it last night, and my console is telling me that the disc is corrupt. I uninstalled it and tried reinstallinh, but after five
    seconds, I get the "Installation has Stopped" pop-up. I've tried a quick reset, power reset, disconnecting from the internet, being signed out of my profile, and then it dawned on me thirty minutes ago, try installing to the internal hdd. Set the internal
    hdd as the default storage and hit "Install Disc" and it started without a single issue. I cancelled the update pop-up due to always having insanely long install times. I find it funny that only Advanced Warfare is giving me issues. I tried all 46 of my physical
    titles and only AW would give me an error. All games are installed on the external hdd and are all up to date. I was thinking that it may also be a glitch since I'm a preview member, but the Ambassador forums have zero info on my issue. I'm currently at 38%
    installed. Wish me luck.

  6. Error 80070057 occurs when watching a video or redeeming a prepaid code on Xbox 360

    Error 80070057 may occur in either of the following scenarios.

    Scenario 1

    You see the following error code when you try to watch a video on your Xbox 360 console:

    Status Code: 80070057

    This means one of the following:

    The video file is corrupted.

    The video file format is not supported by Xbox 360.

    Scenario 2

    You see the following error code and message when you try to redeem a prepaid code on Xbox Live:

    Cannot enter prepaid code

    Status Code: 80070057

    This means that you didn't fill in all your account information before you tried to redeem the code.

    Solutions

    To resolve this problem, try the following solutions.

    Scenario 1

    Solution 1: Skip the affected section

    You may be able to use the chapter skip button to skip the affected section or sections in the file. For more information about how to use playback controls, see Play DVDs on your Xbox 360 console.

    I have a similar problem since I have bought call of duty ghost in the xbox store recently and every time I try to install or download it it just says error code 0x80070057 however I cannot redownload it since I have never downloaded it.
