0x80070005 Error when trying to download PC Gamepass (Beta) gamepass games

I am also experiencing this issue. Can you download games that don't say "Administrator approval required for installation"? I can install those games (ie Wargroove) but the games that have that message on the install page (CrossCode, Slay the Spire,
etc) I get the same error code.

i've got the same error code 0x87e00013 when an update is available for a gamepass game ...The only way to bypass that is to uninstall and reinstall the game , it's not very practical hope this can be fixe when the pc gamepass leave beta .

Could you perhaps give a little more detail, are you getting an error trying to download the game or is there no download button and only a purchase button? Are you using the Gamepass Beta app for PC or navigating the Microsoft Store?

Regarding the cross-platform it depends on the game not all games are cross-platform this choice is left to the game developers.
