0x80070005 error code when downloading to my D drive

Hey,

I bought the Game Pass this week because i wanted to try out some games in it, but when i want to download something to my C drive (where windows is installed, so my main one) nothing wrong happens but when i try to install something to another drive (D drive), then after the 99% i get an error message with the following error code: 0x80070005.

So I know the problem is with the 2 drives but i don't know how to fix it, can anyone possibly help me?

I'd be really thankfull.

On your hard drive, there is a folder called ''WpSystem'', take ownership of the folder and rename it to ''WpSystem.old'', save and try downloading the game again.

If the problem persists, follow this path, delete everything from the folder, restart your PC and try downloading the game again.

Windows > serviceprofiles > networkservice > appdata > local>microsoft > windows > deliveryoptimisation > cache >

Renaming the folder worked for me so far so good. the download has continued.

Hello, I am sorry none of the advises worked for me. I have renamed the folder to WpSystem.old and then deleted the cache.

The game still refuses to install on other drive than C. But I dont want to install it there because it is relatively small fast SSD.

Do you have any other suggestions?

I will also add that when I tried to move the game to C drive the download stop and shows the error 0x80070005.
