is anybody having a problem where when you try to sign into Xbox it gives you an error code of 0x800488FC if so do you know how to fix it

Just started getting this at sign in tonight. Can't find a solution. I'm guessing there's a problem at Microsoft, since when I get to the page where it asks me for my mobile to text me when service is back up, it fills the phone number field with a phone
number I've never seen.

 

Yeah mate mines sayin the same thing to and i can't find any information about it

 

I think Microsoft is sending out an update to fix this because a lot of people are having the same problem

having the exact same issue.

i can find a solution to every other issue code except 0x800488FC.

i’ve tried turning my xbox on and off, rebooting and network connection and nothing so far. it has to be on microsofts part.
