New code deployment? That canary died -- revert!

I think an issue has been identified by most of the free world trying to sign into their Xbox devices; Xbox Live Service Status is under the impression that things are cool. They are not cool.

Also, this error doesn't exist in your DB (found it for some PC people on Google).

Please do the needful (and maybe update your Service Status)

Problem while attempting to revert my account to Silver

How are you trying to revert your account to silver? It automatically reverts back when your gold subscription ends.

Revert account migration

My sister thought it was a good idea to move my account from UK to Estonia. Now my dashboard is almost empty and I am unable some parts of the store. Is there any way to revert this change without waiting 90 days? Phone support is not an option because I
am not currently in the UK (I travel abroad with my console).

Revert does not work with Windows 10 and older models.

Revert does not work in Windows 11 at all.

Revert only works from the Xbox.

I wish they would add a reversion process (as long as no one stole the gamertag yet) to make it easier. As of right now I don’t think they got one, you can ask support they may be able to help, not completely certain on incidents like this.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently inquiring about changing your gamertag back to an old one.

At this time, there is no way to revert your gamertag back to your old one with you changing it manually. However, since you have changed it in the past there will be a fee in order to continue to change it.

Additionally, there are still plenty of other tags that you can use that don't have a suffix at the end, if this is something you are worried about.

As far as why you can only use a 12-character gamertag now is due to the 4 characters that are needed in order to add the suffix at the end, even if the your gamertag is a new original one, that space will still be reserved.
