    Still getting error code 0x8004804E after hard reboot. Worked fine yesterday, didnt work before that and wont work now. Just bought it last week. Changed NAT type to Open and have done everything MS support says to do, still no luck. Can someone please
    tell me how to fix this, or can MS please fix it.

    No problem guys, glad I could help. 4 years to get a CS degree and it still took me an hour and some change to figure it out.

    I put in to get one of those XB1 Dev kits, hope they'll pick me.

    It worked thank you! I wasn't able to play the entire day yesterday because of this stupid error. Now I have to go to work so I can't play for a while but at least I'll be able to finally log in when I get back.

    I can't believe this worked. I was still getting this error even after MS updated their status page to say everything was fine again. Nice job figuring it out, thanks for posting this fix.
