    Received this error code (0x80040900) and dark screen multiple times. After reading through online forum, I shut down system, unplugged for a few minutes, and restarted to get it working. Has there been a fix for this issue yet? The system is primarily
    used to play Minecraft and this is the first time I've seen this happen. Been having system now for about (2) months. Please advise with a fix/ solution/ remedy. Thank you!

    hey ive had it happen a few times myself, im using the Xbox App to screen and its happening, ill try what youve done but i think its due to updates on the system. im on the insiders program and meant to get regular updates so its maybe a fault.

    Hi Gamer

    This is what I could find for the error code mentioned:

    Have done all the suggested (uninstall and followed all the steps in the help/errors (minus a full console reset)) and still get the 0x80040900 error code. I assume the next step is a full console reset or is there any other angle to resolve this issue?
