    Hard reset worked for me. Hold the power button for 10 sec then unplug for 30 seconds.

    you have to unplug after for 30 seconds and it worked great for me

    Restarting didn't work for me but pulling the plug and plugging it back in fixed the issue.

    Hold down the XBOX button on the front of the console for 10 seconds and it will hard reset. Much safer than unplugging the system. But yeah the hard reset worked for me. TWITCH was the only thing not working.

    I have this error too with my xpox one. Powered it on and can't login to any accounts on it, can't go into settings as I get this error. Restarting does nothing, xbox.com/errorhelp knows nothing about 0x800401fb error. FANTASTIC!
