    FOR-error code 0x800401fb

    GO TO SYSTEM TAB where you can find "SETTING AND NOTIFICATIONS," GO DOWN AND CLICK ON, "RESTART." THIS WILL COMPLETELY RESTART IT YOUR CONSOLE. YOU CAN NOT JUST TURN YOUR CONSOLE OFF TO FIX THIS YOU HAVE TO CLICK RESTART IN THE SECTION I HAVE LISTED.
    AFTER 3 HOURS OF TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX ERROR MESSAGE. THIS WORKED INSTANTLY.

    0x800401fb

    Hi, a full power cycle is one of the first fixes to try. Sometimes you can't get to settings to do this.

    These steps are for such situations:

    1. Press and hold power button on the front of the Xbox for roughly 15 seconds, till fully shut down.

    2. Unplug the power supply from the wall and back of Xbox for 30 seconds.

    3. Plug back in and restart your Xbox.

    I just had this same problem. Tried to just press the Xbox button in the middle of the controller to shut the console down and then reboot it. That didn't work. Saw this on here about going to the SYSTEM TAB and selecting RESTART and it worked for me!! Thanks!!!

    Restarting didn't work for me but pulling the plug and plugging it back in fixed the issue.

    Hold down the XBOX button on the front of the console for 10 seconds and it will hard reset. Much safer than unplugging the system. But yeah the hard reset worked for me. TWITCH was the only thing not working.

    I have this error too with my xpox one. Powered it on and can't login to any accounts on it, can't go into settings as I get this error. Restarting does nothing, xbox.com/errorhelp knows nothing about 0x800401fb error. FANTASTIC!
