0x8000ffff error ESPN app...

hello!

tried to fire up ESPN app on Xbox one this morning and it wouldnt initialize. After a few attempts of restarting it, I got the 0x8000ffff error. Coming to the support website I didn't find any info on the error for this app. All other apps appear to be
working Fine. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app hoping to fix the problem but had no luck! Any help you guys may have would be appreciated!

Nfl app and Sunday ticket

I am so angry. Paid $240 for Sunday ticket and the app gives error message 0x8000ffff every time I try to open it. Last week it worked but streaming was terrible and low quality.

Xbox Live can't connect?

None, really. Just "can't connect to xbox live". No error codes.

edit: I also do not have the SportsPicks app. The only sports app is ESPN.

removing and downloading your profile may solve this issue, if the app has a save file it my need to be deleted aswell

any one else getting Error 0x8000ffff now? Maybe they're resetting the servers?

Hi K0ntagi0us it appears that you may have a corrupted file since we didn't list what console you have i included both steps here is a few steps you can try

xbox 360- Uninstall the app by going to System settings, Storage, select the memory device, games and app and find the item to delete once done you want to go back to your Storage area and select either hard drive or memory unit and hit Y select clear system
cache. Once done you want to find the install on the marketplace or download history in your account section once it loaded you should be able to test the app and see if that works ..

If you are working on an xbox one - power cycle your console by holding the power button 10 second once 10 second has past unplug from the wall and wait one minute once done power it back on and try again if it does not work Uninstall the app from the games
and app section once uninstall reinstall the app and see if that helps feel free to reach out if you need more assistance.
