0x80004005 cant play games xbox game pass

Hello,

I subscribed last week to game pass on pc to play football manager 2021 but I can not get past the start-up screen. Gaming UI pops up and I select my Microsoft account but just get "we couldn't sign you in" with the error code 0x80004005. I am already signed in on the Xbox app and even tried signing out and signing in again. I also tried many other troubleshooting ideas like a clean install of the Microsoft store, redownloading the game, and even a clean install of windows itself (keeping data only) to no avail. I also tried resetting stuff through the Powershell and made sure the Xbox services are all set to running automatically.

Can anyone help me with what I can do to actually sort this issue as I have tried everything

just cancel gamepass i had this problem more than month what's the point of paying if u can't play

im using gamepass actually i dont own a disc and its been 5 days i might cancel my subscription with the gamepass because whats the use if u cant play what u paid for
