Discus and support Show Online Status to Just Favorites in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; Requesting an additional selection in Account Privacy to allow only Favorites to see if I’m online.     Show Online Status to Just Favorites


    Requesting an additional selection in Account Privacy to allow only Favorites to see if I’m online. The current options for Everyone/Friends/Only me are fine, but with a sizable Friends list, there’s still too many game invite requests popping up. Would love the ability to pare that down a bit more with just my Faves being able to keep tabs on me.

    Has Microsoft finally fixed the friend online status notifications?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    Just a friendly reminder though that the issue earlier is different. According to Xbox Support:

    "We are aware that some users are experiencing issues with seeing their Friends' online status or joining Party chats. Our engineers are investigating"

    This is related to their status such as if they're online, they're not showing as "online".

    Are you pertaining to the notification when a favorite friend go online?

    Just like Genchy said... typical friends do not show notifications.. they need to be favorites... and then the settings for notify me when favorites come online needs to be checked...

    Some of the simplest problems have the easiest solutions ...
