A new way to pay for low income gamers?!

Hi,

I have a son, and as im getting older the cost of living is biting. My son takes 95% of my attention away, as he is a toddler, so i dont play as much as i used too, and i said the last xbox was the last one for me, but i cant lie Helix looks good, and with the addition of steam it is now on the table for me... a lot of my friends are steam players so a console that allows me to play steam is perfect and right up my alley!

However the issue is pricing, not because of a value issue, im sure what you get will be worth the price (xbox fanboy since day one), but the cost overall is too much for my finances... and as for saying well save, try having a child and dealing with the cost of living, it will be a barrier for a lot of people, so how do u get around this?

I dont want to buy it on credit, as thats just another noose round my neck i dont want, and my credit probably wouldnt allow for it anyway, so again what do we do? This issue wont just affect me. It will affect a very large portion of your fanbase, especially if you consider a family with a few kids who all want it and so on..

So heres my suggestion (for what it is worth), if your bad with money like me, and you cant just save asits impossible, (i also have adhd so its even harder!) Xbox can help!

Why not open a new wallet feature on the xbox walllet? You can pay in whatever you like, and it is stored on the wallet specifically for the new xbox, not for games or other hardware, just the new xbox, now you can request to withdraw it anytime, but it takes like 5 days or so to see it reappear as cash in your bank, so the idea is that it is slow to withdraw so you think twice about using the withdraw feature for daily emergencies, but everytime you pay in it then takes it off the overall balance (once price is officially announced, till then a total shows).

You call it The Future Fund and when u sign up to it there would be a page that explains YOU are in charge, YOU can choose how much to put in, and XBOX will then store it, however it will not allow this fund to be used on the store for anything else other then what you have selected so either the new xbox, new controller, a certain game etc... YOU can choose to withdraw anytime but you have personally put a slow down on it of (say) 5 days before releasing the funds to ensure it doesnt just become a money stash fund, its aim is to help lower income gamers afford the new hardware or games etc...

Gamers can then use it once the new xbox is out and the hype is over for other new products etc... hence name The Future Fund.

Xbox would just need to be very clear on sign up this is for enabling lower income gamers the ability to afford products but on their terms, they pay in what they can afford, when they can afford it, no set track or payment schedule. The gamer decides what they do, you are simply the middle man holding the funds for them, and they still have access to the cash should they need it but you have ensured it is done correctly by slowing the withdrawal down so they have to think before they act.
