If you change your desktop resolution to 1920x1080 instead of the game resolution, does that show the game full screen?

The Windows Gamebar can only record one Window at a time or one full screen game at a time.

To record 'Many Windows' or the Windows Desktop will require a third party software application.

Actually, now that all Microsoft platforms use a shared kernel, there is no longer any excuse for keeping the experiences separate.

Xbox One could easily implement a Windows Desktop mode that supports keyboard/mouse controlled Windows applications, like World of Warcraft, that would eliminate the need for a gaming PC and turn the One into a full featured device that replaces the PC but
does not lose the casual home customer to Apple/Google.

I would be eager to buy multiple Xbox One's as combination gaming, media and homework devices for my kid's rooms while dropping another into my living room, for the wife, and office, for myself, as I have already moved my .Net development onto my Ultrabook,
the only things remaining I use my desktop for is WoW, surfing and budgeting, all things a desktop mode on the Xbox could easily handle.

Talk about boosting sales of the platform for a minimal investment.

Windows 8 is a complete joke for the desktop user. I gave it a go but I could not stand that Metro UI, they removed the start button. Metro UI may be fine for a tablet but not for a desktop user. MS could have at least allowed users to switch to desktop
mode period with start button enabled just like Windows 7. Surprised there is no ads over the Metro UI main screen like the Xbox dash. Ballmer has really messed up.
