    i have overheating series x and need help


    hello, i have a series x that randomly made a loud noise from the fan and then now the fan doesnt spin, i have taken it apart and cleaned it and it seems the fan is seized (its super hard to turn by hand) i ordered a replacement fan, do i need to be worried about anything else? such as thermal paste or other elements or should i be able to just install the new fan and play again

    It was the tv...was told that the resolution produced by the series X is a little much for it so it overheated. Ubreak fixed the issue.

    Xbox Series X turning off by itself

    In my experience the notification about overheating occurs after you turn the console back on after letting it cool down, about an hour. I've never seen it before it turns off, and only had overheating on a Xbox One X. The side tiny vents were blocked with dust which required vacuuming out every other month.

    Haven't had overheating on my Xbox Series X.

    Elden Ring is resource intensive. Could you hear Series X fan working overtime while you were playing?

    If so I would send the console back to get repaired and / or replace it.

    Game Crashing

    I was having the overheating issue from playing in the Rec. As soon as there is a dead ball, the xbox would shut off. I have the seagate Storage Expansion Card for xbox series x. I just moved the game to the Storage Expansion Card. It has been working fine for me since.
