YouTube not opening and Update loophole

youtube hasn't been able to open since the most recent update. So glad I spent hundreds of dollars for a system that can't even play youtube

Hello ChillixYT, try to I don't know if you have a regular or new-generation Xbox, or if you've already performed a procedure on your console, if you haven't already, follow the procedures below.

First uninstall the Youtube App, then remove any game or App you might have in quick resume.

After this, do a cache clean up.

1. Go to the Xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off

2. Wait 10 seconds until it turns off

3. Wait 1 minute with it off

4. Turn it back on

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

You do know that it is just the same on the PS3, the title update made a loophole on both consoles, so you just be losing money and getting yourself frustrated!

I guess the question then becomes how do I get the new YouTube app? I only have the one, and it doesn't update when i open it nor is there a notification to update that i know of.

My Youtube app ALWAYS crashes while searching for videos. Never fails. Even clearing the cache does not help nor does reinstalling the app. Pathetic.
