    I have an issue. I have Ark survival ascended off of the xbox app on pc, with game pass. Porblem is that when i try to write into any text box in the game, in the mod search bar, or the inventory and crafting searchbar, a sort of weird profanity filter turns everything to stars. im guessing its some xbox specific profanity filter, but it hinders my gameplay and does in no way help "eliminate" profanity. im 18 years old for christ sake, the only thing it CAN protect as a singleplayer is me and i dont need to be. but most importantly its broken. Words like "eco" or even just the letter "e" get hit with this. is there a way to turn these off, apart from of course buying the game on steam or pirating it, both of which id rather not do, seeing as i have access to the full game.

    Microsoft, in Ark Survival Ascended, the chat filter overly restricts basic words like "How" and "The," hindering communication and gameplay. Assistance needed to adjust or remove filter.

    Hi Kyle, it is not an "In Game Issue" if you go search this problem on the internet, it is a MICROSOFT issue. Apparently there are new parameters added to the profanity filter, however, this filter does block a lot of regular use words, as well as acronyms and other languages.
    I need to know where in this MICROSOFT/XBOX for PC platform do I change the messaging filter / profanity filter that is blocking.

    I joined the X-box for PC community to play Ark Survival Ascended, but if this can't be solved, I will gladly cancel my subscription rather than play frustrated and unable to join servers that I can't search due to a Microsoft issue.

    The issue you’re encountering in ARK: Survival Ascended on PC is in fact a chat filter implemented in the Microsoft Store and Xbox versions of the game that looks to keep social interactions safe for every user.

    This filter is available in some aspects of the game, including chat, item searches, and creature naming.

    As it exist for the safety of players, there’s no way to disable it.

    According to your description, you cannot install your DLC content in Ark Survival Ascended.



    This is a hot issue, and the community has received a lot of feedback from players with the same problem.
