    Grounded 2- Disappearing loot, inventory crates and de-buffs


    I've recently checked out the Grounded 2 insider update. After scavenging throughout the Fire Pit area and Garden area all while discovering the optical disks and wonders in the area, Upon death I realized that my some of my loot where disappearing. It wasn't till I spawned back at base to realize 3 of my inventory boxes have completely disappeared all with my armor, weapons and new materials inside them. The only option I had was to go back a saved game where I had them.. which ended up being 6 saves ago. In this game, it was about 7 hours worth of gaming. I was okay with starting over since I had my inventory boxes however I soon realized the moment I grabbed another optical disk and died, my inventory boxes were gone yet again. There's been a time where a mate of mind fell through the map. So, at this point the game is unplayable. I'm not going to push forward playing the game if I'm constantly losing loot and or weapons or gear I've worked to gain this far.

    Also, I am incapable of removing some of my mutations. It'll only let me remove one active while keeping 3 passives active. I've also found that I have to repurchase things from the Science Shop that I've already had unlocked or purchased already.. I'm not sure what's going on.

    A few debuffs I've noticed while playing though has been the speed of the actual character, and bugs. Even with gear, especially the wolf gear our speed is severely slower. The ant and spider is also much slower. I could keep up with my friend on foot while riding the ant which defeats the purpose. The spider's stamina has also changed as well and it's ability to practically run over anything. There's also this weird thing that's happening with the red ant gear that causes black ants to avoid me and the red ants attack. Very strange being that typically its the other way around.

    All and all, I'm hoping that this helps and provides us insiders the ability to play without losing anything.

    Rats only steal loot on the ground, they don't take things from your inventory.

    have a follower with you. If you drop all your heavy loot on the ground and command your follower to pick it up, their inventory will be infinite.

    opening their dialogue and asking to trade with them will limit their inventory.

    They do take money from your inventory, but it drops when you kill them in the form a white money stack. They do not take your weapons though.

    Loot crate

    In my opinion, pay to win and loot crates has no place in retail games. I get that developers want to maximize potential revenue, which is why they include them. If they insist on having micro-transactions, then make it only for optional cosmetics.

    It'd be great if all games shipped with content (abilities, costumes, cheats) that were attainable by playing the game.

    I have never been a fan of the loot crate system. Pay to Win, and even Pay to Advance Faster tends to break the game for me. I am not convinced that it needs legislation to fix though. They tend to break and ruin more than they fix when they meddle
    in gaming.
