    Game bar and party chat not working


    I have windows 10 with the most recent version. My graphics card is updated, as well as my bios for mother board. Game bar will not open and when I try to join a voice party it just says connecting. I don’t receive invites either.

    I’ve tried resetting and repairing the apps. Reinstalled the Xbox app but nothing is working.

    Party chat on Windows/Xbox App still works. An alternative is the Xbox game bar Party.

    To bring up the Xbox game bar, Hold the Windows button and Press "G"

    From there you will be able to initiate a Party and Much more!

    There is a workaround: in Game Bar you can pin the party chat so that it stays active when the Game Bar overlay disappears. Click the pin icon on the party chat widget. Hopefully they fix it properly soon.
