Add a way for players to create and publish their own games on Xbox

Question: This game and the rights to create games based on the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise are held by Konami. This game was created, published and sold by Konami. With all that in mind what are MS supposed to do about a game they neither created, owned or had anything
to do with?

No way on the make your own camo, people can't even control themselves in a decent manner on this game as it is. Add that in and it will create even more headaches for enforcement lol.

No, EA are only the publisher, But the Publisher will likely keep the rights to the Name of the game, any future sequels and extras

Take Need 4 Speed by EA. That has quite a few different Developers but EA has always been the Publisher.

The same with Call Of Duty - Infinty Ward, Treyach, Spark Unlimited, Grey Matter. Many developers One game, and Activision as the publisher.

Again, There are quite a few franchises that have different developers, but the same publisher, or a company will buy a developer and make them their own, just to own a franchise, Take Ubisoft, Buying Redlynx, for Trials. It will have the same Dev for this
incarnation, but it will upto Ubisoft if they keep the same team.

Halo is another classic - Publisher Microsoft, but devs are Bungie, Ensemble Studios, and now 343. The name normally stays with the Publisher, as they tend to create the contract and supply the funds to create the games

Unfortunately, adding an app to the console is not up to Xbox or Microsoft, but up to the publisher of that media and developer of the app.

Microsoft provides the tools and SDK's to allow any publisher to add their app to the console, but ultimately it would be up to that developer to create an Xbox version of the app and publish it to the store.

So while you absolutely should report cheaters using Xbox's in-console tools, you may also want to research how to report cheaters specifically to Activision. Other publishers, like EA, also have their own reporting systems.

Another reason why you'll want to work with the game publishers is because of cross-play. Many games allow players using Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC to all play at once, so the player you want to report may not be on Xbox Live. Reporting through the publisher will make sure the offending player is dealt with regardless of the platform they use.
