    Colour Rainbow screen flickering on Samsung Xbox Cloud


    Trying to figure out why this is happening - I'm using the Xbox cloud app to stream my Xbox series X from upstairs to my living room tv (UE50AU) - there aren't any issues on the monitor upstairs though, so its not an issue with the xbox itsel or the connecting wires. Ive tried disabling VRR, but can't see an option for it on the TV, and while the console is streaming, I can't edit any game mode settings.

    You talk about going black but have flickering on Topic.

    There was an official Problem with HDR Flickering on that TVs and Xbox but that should be fixed a time ago
    The screen flickers when HDR or HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour is on in the TV, after a while of flickering it goes black, then the TV loses the signal from the Xbox. That's
    my problem.

    If I deactivate HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour, then there's no more flickering and no more black screen.

    Well it isn't fixed yet, I'm 100% sure I am on the latest firmware on both the LG C9 and the Xbox One X.

    I am sorry to hear that.

    Using the App shouldn't cause this. Does it only happen after you use it?

    You can restore the TV settings.

    Go to Settings > Support > Service > Self Diagnosis > Restore Smart Hub > Settings > Enter the default PIN (0000)

    To complete the reset, select OK. Your TV will restart automatically.

    Let me know if it works!
