    xbox app age verification not working


    hello so my boyfriends xbox is saying that he needs to verify his age by christmas or it won’t let him play 18+ games, so he tried to do on the xbox app and it won’t let him, he’s 20 btw, he’s tried his ID which clearly states his birthday and he tried face scanning, it said it couldn’t verify the requirements needed, he’s tried phoning microsoft multiple times and it sends him straight to a robot that just hangs up.

    has anyone experienced this? what can i do to help him?

    That's for age verification for using a Microsoft account. Changing the age of a Microsoft account does not change the age of an Xbox account.

    Changing your date of birth using a credit card on account.microsoft.com does not change it on your Xbox account.
