    PowerA Controller Only Working on PC


    Yesterday, my Gamesir controller stopped working, so today I picked up a new one, the PowerA, on the cheaper side but I’ve had one before and it worked good. I get home and plug it into my Xbox and try to turn it on, no light or response from it. I plugged something else into the same port and that worked, but still not the controller. I then plugged it into my computer and it worked. I’m not sure why this is happening, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had the same problem before I go and get another new controller, thanks.

    We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning the inability to use your PowerA wireless controller on your Windows 10 PC.

    Considering the controller is a 3rd party item, this may be due to an incompatibility related matter to which the controller is hindering the recognition onto the PC.

    As previously stated, Xbox One controllers are intended to be plug in and play devices, to which drivers are almost always automatically updated on the PC.

    It might be best to reach out to PowerA in regards to this inquiry, just to ensure that the device is fully compatible.

    Xbox Power A Controller

    Reach out to PowerA to see if they can help you get the controller working on PC. You might need additional drivers of even a program to get it functioning properly

    Hi. The controller I have is "PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S". There is a section for PowerA in verified controllers. It use to work for me just fine for over a year. I am not sure why suddenly it is not working. Any ideas?

    I have the PowerA Spectra Infinity and I'm also having the same issue. This controller has worked fine for me on Edge Canary, but now all of a sudden it is not being recognised by that browser or even regular Edge, The controller works on my PC, including on Chrome and the Gamepass app, but none of these have the clarity boost mode, so I'm not happy with sticking with those choices.

    I have looked deep within the PowerA website and there is no mention of these controllers needing firmware updates at all.
