    Proposal: Modular Game Pass – Customize Your Ultimate Subscription


    Problem:

    The recent price increase of Game Pass Ultimate has caused dissatisfaction among many users. Currently, the subscription includes additional benefits like Fortnite Crew and Ubisoft+ Classics, which not all users want or use. This has led to:

    Frustration among subscribers.

    Increased subscription cancellations.

    Negative perception of the Game Pass service.


    Proposed Solution:

    Introduce a Modular Game Pass model for Ultimate:

    Base Ultimate Plan (e.g., $15/month): includes all essential features (main game catalog, EA Play, cloud gaming, multiplayer, member discounts).

    Optional Add-Ons: users can select additional benefits they want, each with a small extra cost:

    Fortnite Crew → +$2–3

    Ubisoft+ Classics → +$2–3

    Future add-ons (GTA+, EA Premium, exclusive packs, etc.)

    Users can keep the base plan at the original price or customize it by adding only the features they actually want.

    Hello, regarding your question the game pass ultimate subscription is a subscription that does not include Xbox Live Gold and Game pass for PC only, but also Game pass for console and Ea Play. Therefore, in order for you to have access to all those subscription you will need to pay for the full subscription. Also, the option for your subscriptions to automatically convert is not available because in order for it to convert the customer needs to consent to it.

    Game pass ultimate includes gold and the game pass subscription so if you have the gold and purchase the ultimate subscription it will cancel the gold subscription and put it in with the ultimate. The Gold subscription will show as being cancelled in your
