    Okay, so I live in the same house as said person, when joining an xbox party I can hear them which is cool, but if I try to speak with them through any game i cant hear him at all. No matter what game I cant hear him but everyone else can, even new games...Help

    Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and report this person right away. It is people like this who ruin the games for everyone. I think you can block him where he cant tell if your online.

    I have this exact issue. I purchased an xbox one & turtle beach headset with a cable. Only people can hear me when im in a party, once I try to swap to game chat its like my microphone is muted and noone can hear me however i can hear everyone else.

    I have updated my controller, looked at my audio settings etc etc but cant find anything on here to suggest anything else. It is so frusturating!!
