    Xbox one S update Error..... please help


    My xbox is trying to update, but instead I get a screen that says "you need this update for your Xbox, but there was an error" then it gives me my console ID and then it says, error #: bunch of random numbers and letters

    I tried holding down the power button, resetting my console but still nothing.

    Btw im on the old Xbox one S.

    Are you referring to the original Xbox One, One S, or One X?

    Try the recommended troubleshooting here (particularly everything under ‘Error message: There was a problem with the update’ > 80072xxx):

    When trying to update I get this Status Code: 40A3 - 0000 - 3080 - 0402 - 8007 - 045D
