    Why is my Xbox series s console turn on and off instantly without sound as well


    I have tried changing power cords with different outlets, I also tried different hdmi cords & finally I tried to go into safe mode and reset the console but still having the same issue.

    I have almost the same problem except the error message says

    “if you’re using Xbox series X/S, note that HDMI audio can’t be turned off. In other consoles, either optical or HDMI audio must be on. (0x80bd0009)

    Why can’t I turn off hdmi audio on Xbox series x it makes no sense?

    I just recieved my new series x and it will not turn off my TV. I have followed procedures to have it set up, it worked with my one s just fine.

    Yes I did why would my one s work and the series x not work??? Why did it turn it off once and not again? Turns it on just fine!
