Xbox decided to create an overlapping account over my minecraft email

There no way to contact them keep sending me to some stupid ai bot, they dont provided any contact detail, dont know why things have to be made overly complicated now it so much easier years ago when you could just send a simple email. Hope ill be getting compensation for wasting all this time.

It's really frustrating to spend hours only to be repeatedly stymied by account issues. We realize that you just want to be able to log into your Minecraft account without any problems, and you don't want the system to create a new Xbox profile without authorization, making it impossible to access the game.



Regarding the “overlapping accounts” issue you mentioned, this usually occurs in the following situations:

• You are logged in with the same email address as your migrated Minecraft account, but the Xbox service automatically creates a new Xbox profile instead of recognizing the account you already have for the game.
  
• The system mistakenly sees the Microsoft account as a “new user”, which can lead you to an empty account with no Minecraft license or progress.
  

We've definitely seen some similar feedback in the community about this kind of issue, but unfortunately deleting or modifying your Xbox Live profile can't be done in the community or on the user's side at this time, and needs to be handled by the Xbox Support team. They may be able to help you check your account backend information and merge or correct profile attributions.

I'm pretty sure I used the correct information. The same email address and password. There is almost no chance that it would be different. If I did create a new account, is there a chance that the password and email address are overlapping?

In this case, you would unfortunately need to create a separate Xbox account/profile with a personal email address. Even if you have another email address as the domain on the work account, this still won’t necessarily be an option. This was updated and came into effect a few years ago:

I know that I dont have any other microsoft account which can be having my minecraft account, and I created a new account with the same email that I found out was no longer an existing account, so now Im confused with what to do, for details, the night that I decided to hop on minecraft, I opened my launcher, and I was logged out, when I tried logging in, it gave me an error with xbox live, then I checked my microsoft account, my account was not there, checked the microsoft store, and my purchase of minecraft java and bedrock was gone, it was like I never bought the game, and thats when I created my microsoft account again and here we are now.
