    Weird thing.. My buddy i work with has a slim xbox like me, and he had problems with GTA4 as well. Disk read errors like mine.( we just talked about this on Friday actually) his solution was he ended up buying the GTA4 pack with the DLC built in and that

    GTA4 Region code error

    Hi there,

    the Xbox 360 consoles (and some games) are regionally locked, which means that the console will only be able to run Discs from the region where it originates from.

    If you receive a region error code then the Disc does not match the region from the console.

    The only way to make it work is to get matching regions on console and disc. There is no way around it.

    Most Disapointing Game on Xbox 360

    With GTA4, it's too easy to compare with GTA SA. I think the latter was a more popular title though I could be wrong. I myself liked the cast in SA allot more then GTA4. Regardless though, GTA4 alone is a pretty amazing title imho.
