Why can't video games be "Downscaled?" Seems like there is no issues "upscaling" games from...

but it was not really designed to run at 1080p, it was not even a option when xbox first came out, nothing on xbox live video or games run at 1080P , 720P is most and xbox upscales it but not native, like if u put 1080P video in xbox, it will downscale
it to run through the cpu/gpu for more speed then it will upscale it in the video output

I understand a bit of the differences between the two there is also a lot about the two in the sense of comparison I didn't understand. Why would anyone need the Integral over the Linker other than to downscale? If that is the only reason, the price seems
a bit much but it probably does take more to downscale a source than it does to upscale it or to strip something out of it.

Most likely the 1440p resolution will just be the downscaled 2160p output so not really any different from plugging the X into an 1080p display.

Until support is added you will get downscaled 2160p to 1080p that is then upscaled by the monitor to1440p.

Having the same issue with my Screenshots and Clips. I hear others say it happens while streaming. From what I understand we are all using XboxOne S connected to 4K TVs. So this is some sort of upscaling or downscaling issue. Or, Andromeda is just too big
in 4K and the world can't handle it.

Untrue. There are many 1080p videos on many of the 360's video services. I own Archer on Zune/XBOX Video. Those episodes are 1080p on the 360. Ever try to read the label on a bottle of Formula K at 720p and then at 1080p?
