My Xbox Series X recognizes my harddrive but does not show contents.

My Xbox Series X recognizes my Seagate hard drive, but does not show the contents. I have tried hard restarts and checked every plug. Nothing has worked thus far. After reading a few suggestions online, I tried changing USB port. The console shows the hard drive, but nothing shows still. Any ideas?

If not ntfs then you can't use it

This fix does not cover either of my xbox series x, or xbox one x. Neither of them show this path in system. no profile or notifications.

Same issue since day one release. I have yet to get this to work with my Series X. I just shipped my Series X back today for GPU failure.

This feature still works fine with my Xbox One X Scorpio Edition.

Also on your Samsung TV, did your input change from the green Xbox to the blue generic "Game Console"? Mine did as if the TV does not recognize the device as an Xbox console. I can switch it out with my Xbox One X and the input icon changes back to the green Xbox.

series x has disc drive and the series s does not

smart delivery is so it downloads the content for the specific console

hence why the game case has series x and xbox one advertised on it. the disc can be used in series x and xbox one consoles, the series s does not have a drive therefore requires digital purchase.
