Is the XBOX ONE X better than th XBOX SERIES S

I can not decide. The xbox one x obviously has more memory and has 6 tflops. The series s has 4 tflops. I would like a disc drive to play some disc based games but mainly for blu ray and dvd. I don't need blu ray support but it would be nice to not need a blu ray player and a games console. The one x is more powerful but the series s uses next gen effects. I do not know what to get

You can't just look at the numbers gpu only affects so much

The cpu is far too old over 15 years actually .

The only improvements iz the memory increase and the gpu in the xbox one x

But the series s does circles around the xbox one x due to the proccessing and storage

A Series S/X is a different console than an Xbox One. So if it's only for the Series S/X, it will not work on a One.

The game on the Series S doesn't look as great as the Series X. There's no ray tracing and you can't get 120hz as well. But it performs way better than the Xbox One for sure.

Untrue.

Dying Light 2 is optimised for Series S, but due to the open world nature of the game, it's not 60fps. The game runs at a fixed 1080P resolution (1920x1080) on Series S, whereas the One S operates at a rather low 864P (1536x864), not much higher than 720P.

Just factoring in resolution alone, Dying Light 2 is still better on a Series S than an Xbox One S.

One X has better texture and geometry detail, mainly due to having 4GB more RAM than a Series S.

It is worth of trade in old xbox one on the new series x because the series x are better than the xbox one.
