Will I lose my current account if I wish to migrate my old GTA V gen account?

I had created a new account and did not migrate my previous GTA V account, is there any way that I could use the previous account without losing the new account? I previously used an Xbox but when I created a new one I was using a Backbone console. Does the old gen account will stay on the Xbox?

So just to make sure I understand correctly.

You have 2 GTA V profiles:

-1 old profile under the legacy version

-2 a new one under the current enhanced version

And i assume these are both under the same Xbox account?

If so, when you migrate the old profile, that was under the legacy version over to the enhanced version, it will essentially overwrite your new enhanced version profile.

The older previous profile will still be accessible at this point within the legacy edition but any further progress you make from that point on either profile will be separate fron eachother.

Ok. My console is Xbox One. That's the problem. I registered the account for Red Dead Redemption. Then I installed GTA V. My old PSN GTA V account still exists and a new Xbox Live account has been created. Both are linked in only one Social Club account.
On PS3 still access the old account, but wanted to do this on Xbox One.

The whole "GTA: V isn't coming until X740 AND PS4" is a little bogus I think. The graphics displayed are easily current-gen. I think that GTA: VI will be on next-gen, though! I don't think we'll see announcements for next-gen until far after GTA: V comes
out. Next-gen GTA... that'll be something!

Choose online play > GTA V migration > Xbox Series X > Contact Us

(Sign in to your Rockstar Social Club account if prompted to)

Then you’ll be taken to a screen where you enter your current gamertag of the account you migrated you GTA V account to. In the description box tell em you want your account migrated back to Xbox One.

Lastly, scroll to the bottom and click “Submit a Chat ticket” To start the live chat.

Does this mean that even though I had a GTA V profile on my XBox 360 (non-Gold XBL account), I can't migrate my profile to my XBox One without going to XBL Gold??
