I can’t connect my Xbox to my internet suddenly.

My Xbox suddenly won’t connect to the internet, I’ve tried restarting the console, changing the DNS settings, the Word tagging settings, an alternative MAC address, I have a wired router but it’s not connected to my Xbox by a cable, I have no idea what to do.

Hi, yes I’ve tested it on different routers, in different locations and different network options and each one will not connect. I also tried a mobile hotspot and was met with the same result. It doesn’t say that there’s an error, just that it cannot connect.

When you try to connect to the internet on your Xbox, do you see errors?

Also, are you able to test it using a different WiFi network or mobile hotspot? It would be helpful to know if the issue is with your console or your ISP.

I am sorry to hear that.

Please, if you know how to do it, make a Wi-Fi hotspot router on your phone and connect to it.

That way we can isolate the issue, by testing another internet connection, using your mobile data plan.

Which error message do you receive? Have you tried to connect via a LAN Cable (for testing purposes, if possible)?

Have you tried to clear your console MAC address?

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system, then Settings.

In the General tab, select Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear.

Restart your console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your controller to open the Power Center.

Select Restart console and then select Restart.

(If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

Sign in to your console.

UNABLE TO ACCESS XBOX LIVE.

Suddenly tonight I can't run anything requiring xbox live. I'm prompted to check my connection. When I check my connection via the connection test in network settings everything is fine. The console connects to my router, to the internet and to xbox live
just fine. What gives?
