Renewed Game pass ultimate and now it says I don't have privileges

You're having the same issue as me. I did the same and it renewed my game pass ultimate which is not what I wanted. now I'm stuck and don't know what to do.

I recently lost the privilege of having ultimate since it's been 2 years after thr initial buying of my series x console. Now a game that is included with game pass has the disc with a warning symbol on it. However I do infact have the disc for said game but when I open it with the disc in it says I need to buy it.

We had an active Gold subscription and my son tried the Game pass for a month and then cancelled it but now we don't have anything and we are only 5 months into our year of Gold. Why do we not have anything now?

By activating the Game Pass Ultimate subscription (the trial version) it converts your Gold subscription to Game Pass Ultimate completely (replaces) so when you cancel the Game Pass Ultimate service renewal, you are canceling the service completely. This
is something that the service detects and advises when activating the Game Pass Ultimate subscription trial.

Depends on your situation.

Let's say you have 5 months of Gold membership left and 6 months of Game Pass left.

If you upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate, you will get 5+6 months of ultimate subscription. So in total 11 months of Game Pass Ultimate. If your Xbox Live Gold was to be renewed in November, then the Game Pass Ultimate would be renewed +6 months from that, since
the the Game Pass sub is being added.

Yes the auto renewal is off already. I have the Game pass ultimate until May 25. I already bought a new 12 month xbox live gold card but when I try to redeem the code it says my 12 month
gold will be automatically convert to a 4 months xbox game pass ultimate which I don't want. I want the 12 month of xbox live without the game pass. Do I really have to wait until my xbox game pass expired before I can redeem a new xbox live gold (without
the game pass ultimate)?
