I have installed red dead redemption 2 and i went to go and play it, and it popped up on my screen with “do you own this game or app?” even though i had just purchased it from the microsoft store and installed it. this has never happened to any of my other games and im not sure what to do.

soz meant exclamation mark, it a red triangle with an exclamation mark inside it

no, i can’t, does that mean i didn’t actually install the game?

I have installed the base game aswell, it took about 1 hr 30 mins to install, if i uninstall, get a refund and try again, would that help?

An exclamation mark sign means the system has not detected an active license for the game, so it's a bit odd that you are still able to play it.

Would you mind giving this a try?

- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
- Unplug your console's power cord for 5 minutes.
- Plug the power cord back in.
- Check if the warning sign is still there.

If that doesn't work, I'd appreciate it if you could answer the following questions:

- May I ask which Xbox model you are using?
- Could you tell me the name of the game that' displaying this warning sign?
- Are you playing this game through a subscription service?
