why is xbox app not launching

I ran it from the start menu as an administrator and it launched. I don't know why it doesn't launch from the xbox beta app though.

Please try the steps below.

Please check the Xbox services.

Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Apps & features.

Look for Gaming services, click on it and select Advanced options.

Try "Repair" and then "Reset".

Do the same for the Xbox app.

Restart your PC.

A solution that worked for me is downloading the game through Steam, and the Xbox App. Then launching the game through Steam to verify it launches and closing then closing the game. After that I launched the game through the Xbox app, it worked just fine after that. I have no idea why this worked for me, but it did. A small solution hopefully that works for you and others too.

not sure why everyone is using valorant through the xbox app, it is freely available via their own website with the standalone launcher which you launch when you start the game. why have xbox app and riot launcher open and running to play a free game.

Why exactly were you surprised there wasnt a HaloWay point app at launch if there isnt a Halo game available at launch? Just curious.
