Discus and support Elden Ring is unplayable for me Xbox1S in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; I've been playing Elden Ring for months now on my Xbox One S and never had any problems.     Elden Ring is unplayable for me Xbox1S


    I've been playing Elden Ring for months now on my Xbox One S and never had any problems. Of course I always see the message about exiting the game properly before closing it and I've been careful to do that every time. But about a month ago I experienced a wifi outage, for first time since I'd started playing, and the game froze on me. I waited hours with it running, even after the the wifi was restored, but it wouldn't refresh so I used the controller to restart the console. First time I opened it I got the message saying that the game closed improperly i might lose save data. It seemed totally fine at first right. BUT NOW IT CRASHES ALL THE TIME. I can't play it for more than 45 minutes without it crashing on me or freezing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled like 5 times now, I check the cache data, all that. Nothing is working I have over 300 hours in this playthrough and I just got the DLC and haven't beaten it yet but in this state Idk if I'll ever be able to play it again Please if anyone has advice (aside from buying a new console) I would really appreciate it.

    TLDR: Base game and DLC was running fine for months on Xbox 1S until one time I had to force close the game. Now ever since it crashes ALL the time and none of the intuitive fixes do anything. Please help

    Same problems exist with me as extreme stutter and there was no problem till last 1.5 month period everything is same and same games started to unplayable for example for me elden ring and sekiro

    Is this a message that you're receiving in-game or on your console?

    If it's in game, you should be able to set the game to offline in the settings.

    If it's the console, is your console set as the home console for the account that owns the game? If not, that's probably why you're experiencing the issue. If you do not own the game, be sure to sign into to both your account and the account that owns the content before launching it.

    If you're not sure or don't know how, try following the guide below:

    If want to make a different console your home Xbox:

    1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.
    3. Do either of the following to change the status of your console:
      • To make this your home Xbox, select Make this my home Xbox.
      • To remove this console as your home Xbox, select Make this my home Xbox and then Remove this as my home Xbox.
    When you switch your home Xbox, all licenses for digital content will move to your new home Xbox, and the licenses will no longer be available on your previous one. In other words, when you switch your home Xbox, access to your content comes with you to your new home Xbox, and anyone signed in can enjoy it.

    You can switch your home Xbox up to five times in any one-year period. If you reach your limit for the year, we’ll show you the next available date you can change it.

    I appreciate it, indeed deletion of the locally saved data will be the last resort however, we can't perform the steps since we can't sync it on your end. Which is why since this is happening with just one game you may need to inform them of the current situation for advanced troubleshooting steps.
