    Hello lads.

    I've had this xbox for about 2 years and I got it "for parts".
    well, I recently got around to booting it up (it had no hdd so I went and made my own using the hdd creator script).

    Surprisingly OSU1 failed, making me think it might not be a retail firmware in there.

    os version: 26100.4855.amd64fre.xb_flt_2506ge.250612-1215.

    is this insider, and if it is, Can anyone tell me which version it is (thanks).

    Discs are Warm inside XBOX One X Console

    Discs will generally always be warm when you take them out of your console, the same thing occured with 360 and my xbox one s console, It's very normal due to heat build up inside of the console while its running.

    I get this from time to time, it depends on the game. I am also in the Xbox Insider Preview program and sometimes the beta builds do this more than normal. It has been more noticeable with the recent Xbox Insider Preview builds. Just ensure that you have
    good airflow around the console.

    Hello Mark, I don't know which Insider ring you belong to but Insider builds have bugs and errors that normal builds don't.

    Ideally, contact Insider support through the official Reddit site.

    The best places to report these issues are to the
    team via the Xbox Insider App     and
    you can also post in the Xbox Insider Subreddit.

    Those are the best places since it's an insider build, and the normal troubleshooting steps might not work for you, or apply to production builds.

    Follow thorugh to make sure the team recieves the report via the Insider Hub, and the Subreddit is the best place to see if others are having the same issue, and to see if they have solutions that might work for you.
