Xbox series s fan (tea kettle noise)

So usually after you play games for couple hours on a series and and you then turn it off you will hear a small tea kettle like noise as it does when it's cooling itself off.ive come to find this is normal but 6 hours after I had turned my console off I woke up to see that my console still had the fan running with the same tea kettle ish noise which is faint btw but still concerning but the console was not hot at all instead it was cool

Kindly try to do these steps and check if it will fix the issue.

Press and hold the Power button on the front of your Xbox until the console turns off.

Unplug everything from the back of your Xbox.

Wait 3 minutes, and then plug the power cord and HDMI back in.

Then, please check if that fixes the issue.

If that still doesn't fix he issue, try to reset the console this way.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to remember the email and password for the account before taking these steps.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.

Select "Reset and keep my games & apps

Then check if that fixes the issue. Thank you!

Should I send the Xbox in for warranty or do you think the Xbox will run fine with the whistling sound

if there's no indication of other problems it's fine

typically a whistling sound is caused by something in the air pathway, well it may not be causing a problem it can be annoying
