[Problem] Unable to log in with passwordless MS account if Xbox PIN entered incorrectly...

Please can you press and hold the power button on your console until the console shuts off. This will clear the cache on the console. Once the console has shut off, please turn the console back on and try signing into your account.

When it asks for a pin, please enter the pin incorrectly three times. Once you have entered the pin incorrectly three times, it should prompt you to enter your Microsoft account password.

Once you have entered your Microsoft account password, you should see an option to make a new pin. Once you have made a new pin, you can remove the pin by going to Profile & System > Settings > Account > Sign-in, security & PIN

You should see an option to delete your pin.

I created a new Microsoft account, and then bought the game for that account. I tried to change to a different local admin in my PC, but I was still unable to change the PIN, as it says that I can't set one up unless my email is associated with an organisation. I am able to log into the account on another PC, but still unable to on my PC unless I have the PIN. I've now guessed the PIN incorrectly too many times, and says that I can't try again unless I restart my device. I tried to restart my device, but says the same thing still without having tried yet.

I believe you can also enter the pin incorrectly 3 times in a row, at which point the system will ask you for your Microsoft account password instead.

Unfortunately, as these comments came from your accounts, I think it's unlikely that they will drop the bans. You can set up more security on your account like requesting a 6-digit pin to be entered every time you log in. This way, even if someone else
is in the house with you, they cannot log you onto Xbox without knowing your pin. Don't give account info to anybody, and I would enable the pin number for log in and don't share that with anyone either.
