Will the OG Halo CE and Halo 2 ever get added to the BC list of OG Xbox games?

I find it strange that they're not on the list. I get MCC exists but It's weird that all the original 360 Halo titles are BC but not the OG Halo CE or Halo 2. They were BC on 360.

The backwards compatibility program ended in 2021, so anything that was not made compatible by then won't be.

Halo: CE came out on the OG xbox.

I still have the original xbox (OG) as well. 10 of them in fact, and Halo CE (Bungie) is still the most played single player and LAN party game in our home.

Be nice if all PC, and console cames were BC with future rigs, but greed prevents that from ever happening. Take OG games for example. When they were beginning to be BC on the 360, I knew that MS would stop it after 360 console sales rose in number and they
did.

I think they'll do the same with the One, and then claim. 'We didn't stop the BC program at a certain point, the publishers did.'

So my hope is that some electronics company will release compatable replacment laser lenses for all the OG xbox consoles so my 10 OG xbox's can be enjoyed another 13 - 100 years. As the ones on Ebay you have to buy 10 in order to get 1 that actually works.

My fav has always been Halo CE on the PC and OG Xbox and I play for the campaign.

BC is the best thing MS did since aquiring Bungie for Halo on the original xbox.

Can't wait to see a list of which publishing co will not allow their games to be BC on the X1. Will BC be as it was on the 360's shortlist of playable OG xbox games?

BC is supposed to come out with the November update isn't it?
