Gears of war 5 keeps saying checking for dependencies but fails to install everytime with...

Please try to follow these steps. Make sure to close any games and applications before proceeding.

- Press the Windows key and try CMD and run as Administrator. Enter this command and press enter.

netsh winhttp reset proxy

Make sure that Direct access says "No proxy server".

- Ensure that you are on the most recent version of the Xbox app

Microsoft Store app > Downloads > Get updates/Update all

- Ensure that you have updated your PC to the most recent version of Windows, including optional updates

PC Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates > Install

-Then check your PC's date and time settings.

Your PC will need to have an accurate date and time value to be able to establish a connection.

On your PC, press the Start button, then select Settings.

Select Time & Language > Date & time.

Under Set time automatically, make sure the button is set to On.

- Press the Windows Key + S and type Microsoft Store and then click on App Settings.

Repair and Reset the App.

Then do the same with the Xbox App

- Restart the device to apply the changes and sign back in using the same email on the Xbox app And Microsoft Store App.

- Go to Start menu > Settings > Network and Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset.

thanks for trying to help but that didn't work either I don't know what to do at this point I just keep getting stuck in a loop where it still says it's downloaded everytime I click install it justsays its ready but when I click the icon it takes me
back to the screen with the install button like the computer thinks it's installed for some reason. other games work fine it's just Gears of War 5.

I'am still yet to play Gears 5, the last gears i played was Gears of War 3, but i do have Gears 4 installed so will check that out soon

I bought the Gears 5 console bundle. One of the codes that came with it was for Gears 5 ultimate edition AND Gears of War 4. I was able to install Gears 5 but when i try 4 it says i need to buy it. Ive emailed microsoft support but they were no help. Anybody
have the same problem or know a way to resolve this?

If its a physical card check the back side for a 2nd code made that mistake once
