Why do I have to play cross play

Why are not able to play people on ps5 I have crossed gen madden 24 though able to do that

Do you have psn plus ?

If not that would be why

Ps 4/5 require you to have pin plus to play cross play

****, i dont want cross play. I have turned it off/disabled it and the game is forcing me to turn it on or it wont let me play. Why?????

This is not something that can be changed unless Activision allows it unfortunately.

You have to play Warzone with cross play but if you have multiplayer, you can play that without cross play.

If you are under the age of 13, there are issues with getting Cross Platform Play to work, as the necessary option will not appear for accounts that are under the age of 13.

This is an issue with the Epic account, and some child protection laws, that prohibit companies from collecting personal data from kids under the age of 13.

Please contact the Epic Games support for further steps.

While your parents can try to go to
https://account.microsoft.com/family and add your child account to their adult family account, and make the necessary changes on
https://account.xbox.com/settings to allow you to play (other) games for older kids/adults, the cross play feature is an issue with Epic Games, and you need to talk to their support
for that issue.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Gaming on a computer or PC has different advantages than a gaming console and all child
accounts have been set up with maximum security to protect our younger customers while they game online.



All Microsoft accounts that are adult accounts should be eligible for cross play. The only accounts that have restrictions
are the Microsoft child accounts. This is not a bug, Microsoft intentionally set up this barrier for many reasons and plan on releasing a solution to change that option soon. We do not have an estimated time frame on this issue at the moment. As soon as we
find out more information; we will update everyone on the forums about this
issue. Keep an eye out for our response as we are diligently working on allowing parent accounts to manage cross platform play in the parental settings.
