Why Xbox rewards don’t work

I regret to inform you that GTA+ benefits can be claimed only in the Xbox Series X|S edition of the game.
As you’re playing the old gen GTA, that’s why the rewards don’t work.

It’s both versions of Xbox Avatar Editors, Microsoft rewards, insider hub, and a few others. On my old Xbox, Minecraft wasn’t installing either. But why would the same exact problem be happening again in a brand new Xbox. It’s literally the same account. That seems like the issue to me don’t you think. The other tried everything and nothing worked to the point where I was going to have to send it to get it repaired
