Why can't I purchase Minecraft?

2. Try using a different payment method, such as a different credit card or PayPal account.



3. Contact your bank or credit card company to make sure there are no issues with your account that could be causing the payment to be declined.



If none of these solutions work, you may want to try contacting Minecraft support directly for further assistance. They have a better view than us here since they are the game developer. Here on community, we are not able to access their internal system and double check for any possible issue.

We're in the same country. I clicked the link that it gave me on the same page that told me something was wrong with the payment processing.

I searched Amazon for a code and they are "out of stock" for every PC version that isnt $60. How can you be out of stock of a digital voucher? That just doesn't make any sense.

The person who replied to me before you did suggested I search for digital codes at online retailers, which I did. When I tried to reply to them, the reply wouldn't go through and ended up not being posted. I can see now that the post I was replying to has been deleted? What is going on here? All I want to do is buy the basic version of Minecraft for PC that includes Java and Bedrock for $29.99.

It's insane that I have to jump through hoops and was never given a number to call at any point to reach support.

it directed you to contact support, this is not Xbox support this is a consumer forum. No one here has any ability to look at your account or anything to do with money. You'll need to contact Support

Yes, I did all of that and it directed me here, telling me that my payment couldn't be processed but did not tell me why. It gave me an error code and told me to seek help here. I've posted the error code in the OP

Did you try to buy from the minecraft website?

1. Navigate to Minecraft.net and select Shop from the top menu.
   
2. Select the Game you’d like to purchase.
   
3. Click Purchase as a gift and sign into your Microsoft Account if prompted.
   
4. Enter the recipient’s email address in the Sending gift to field and enter your name in the Sender name field on the Send Gift screen.
   
5. Click Next.
   
6. Add a payment method or select an existing one.
   
7. Check all the details on the confirmation screen and select Buy as Gift to complete the purchase.
